English and Maths Tests in Week 9 and 10

Dear 3D,

Please be reminded of the following test dates:

1) English Test 1 - Next Mon (3/3) [30mins]
2) Maths Test 2  - Next Thursday (6/3) [50mins]
3) English Test 2 - Next Thursday (6/3) [30mins]

Below are the topics covered for each test:

1) English Test 1 - Comprehension Open-Ended
2) Maths Test 2 - Subtraction and Word Problems (Up to 2-steps)
3) English Test 2 - All other components (Grammar, Punctuation, Vocabulary learnt in the Learning Sheet Units 1-4)

All English and Maths Files and WB/ booklets will be returned to you for revision tomorrow 
(Fri 28 Feb).

Please bring them home and ask your parents to sign the required pages.

You may return the files and books next week after your tests.

6E Characteristics of the Environment

Dear 6E,

The picture below is a good example of how the characteristics/ factors of our environment affect the living things in it.

This giant millipede was out in the sun too long. That was its last walk about before it overheated, curled up and died.

The picture of my husband's foot next to it, is for you to compare to see how big the millipede actually was.
