The picture below is a good example of how the characteristics/ factors of our environment affect the living things in it.
This giant millipede was out in the sun too long. That was its last walk about before it overheated, curled up and died.
The picture of my husband's foot next to it, is for you to compare to see how big the millipede actually was.
Question:
Think about the factors (both living and non-living) that affect your own survival every day.
